Jill Oliver, owner
Jill began studying Pilates in 1986 and has been teaching Pilates since 1993. Her initial certification training was with Rael Isacowitz in Costa Mesa, CA. She also studied with Ann Barbour (pilates and Alexander Technique) and completed certification training through Stott
Jill's teaching experience spans more than 25 years and includes students of all ages and levels. Jill studied the pre-barre program developed by the Vagonova Academy with Lucimary Montiero-Bly for three years and has taught the program at West Coast Conservatory of Ballet's Summer Intensive and privately. Jill was Artistic Director and CEO of Angular Momentum Ballet Ensemble and taught Levels 1-3 and Dance Conditioning at the Academy of Colorado Ballet. Jill also taught in Colorado Ballet’s Dance Renaissance program for three years. She presented Athleticism & Dance for Colorado Ballet’s
Department of Education and Outreach and did presentations in area elementary schools on Michael Pink’s Dracula and Hunchback of Notre Dame, Don Quixote, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty and other Colorado Ballet productions. Jill staged and rehearsed Academy of Colorado Ballet students for Colorado Ballet’s Nutcracker battle scene for three years.
Jill has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pomona College and is a member of the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science and the IDEA Health and Fitness Association.
