If I had quality Sponsorship ...
Saturday, December 27, 2008
This is Mac Bailey, and I’m glad to have an open channel to connect with You!
Without writing an auto biography, I’d like to say that my involvement in so many differing disciplines within all the opportunities I have ever been privileged to contribute to have been a true Blessing.
Throughout my career, I’ve purposed myself to accepting and advancing any worthwhile endeavor presented to me with the highest level of quality and efficiency, with a heaping measure of joy. It’s part of my Being to offer the best and give my all to the things I choose to make a home for in my heart.
If there were some Online Qualities Assessment Evaluator that would ‘fairly’ rank an individual’s personal merit, I am certain that Everyone and anyone taking the test would have at least some singular category that would show an Outstanding result. In my background, I have been privileged to work in close association with many Individuals of this calibur - through an ecumenically based Mentorship/Grooming program designed to churn out a professional and top notch quality work force in their service. This all was part of a program that infused itself to my family heritage, and was strictly a volunteer service that paid ne’er a penny nor accredited recognition to the participants it persuaded as followers. Ever since signing off of that religious Faction, each and every one of my former Employers have been privileged to reap the benefits of my cultured and multifaceted training.
I’m proud to say that ‘what you see is not always what you get...’, meaning that many of the jobs I have been afforded to qualify for were well below my level of expertise. In my younger strapping days, (when I sported waves in my hair instead of my current receding salt&pepper do), it was such an easy thing to land a ground level position and work my way up to prestigious positions. My appearance to the discriminating eye of anyone charged to pay salaried wages to anyone walking through their doors was a deception to their expectations.
Never having the means or time to pursue classes on a full time level, I took a variety of College courses that provided certain expertise in fields I worked in. It was my mode of operation; my closed circuited upbringing left me lacking customary accreditations, and the persuasive influence of my former Religious Institution on my then young mind had me believing that there existed only one way to “life”. The saddest part of that epic Saga is that once people outside of my religious clic began recognizing my capabilities, I often found myself being used as a secret weapon by both scrupulous and unscrupulous Company Officials who sought to unseat certain prominent and flaky members on their Staff. Thus, I became a threat to those I worked with, directly and indirectly, even though I was never threatening to anyone.
Someone once said, “.. sometimes it’s best not to do your job, it’s better to do your Boss instead..” With the majority of my Bosses having been men, that philosophy wasn’t quite workin’ for me! I was never raised as the sort who needed to hold onto anything that badly anyway. So, I got accustomed to letting them play their little chess games until either one checkmated the other, or they ran a stalemate and decided to check ME out of my position instead. I purposed myself to making it very hard for them whenever they chose to do me that way; It was a great form of entertainment for me, and taught me a lots about litigation.
Now that it’s increasingly harder to create the illusion that once got me into the most privy of places - and that my immediate needs have changed (because of the addition of family), I have now to figure a way of manufacturing a living in a way that bears favorably upon my conscience, self, and person. Thus, the Course of Act Movie Project which in and of itself is a compilation of all my secular experiences and artistic abilities combined into one ambitious and outstanding venture of my very own!
I’m a beating heart without a body... I’ve vested time and gotten exposure to, and experience in a variety of fields that are viably valuable - I am absent the leads to make come alive all the things I am capable of effectuating.
A serious Sponsorship would make the difference.
My shelves never get dusty ... because I’m the type of individual who takes pride in delving deeply into every project undertaken.
Now if only I can find some quality connections to help me collect on this money!
