“Increasingly, those who use technology in ways that expand their global connections are more likely to advance, while those who do not will find themselves on the sidelines.”

~2009 Horizon Report

We hear the term "collaboration" all the time, but breaking out of the mold of traditional teacher-center curricula can be a challenge. This workshop will provide numerous points of entry for teachers with varying levels of comfort with connectivity, constructivist teaching, and collaboration experience. Beginning with collaboration within the classroom and working all the way up to global collaborative projects, there will be something for everyone to take back to the classroom and implement immediately. Collaboration project ideas are student-centered, multi-disciplinary, and based on readily available technology tools. Examples of student finished projects will be shared as well as access to supporting materials beyond the workshop's conclusion.
