Nebraska Dream Walk

Daniel traveled 32 miles on his first day, ending in Clearwater.  He was joined in his last nine miles by his friend Sergio.  Along the way lots of people stopped by to offer support.  They brought him water and snacks.  He journeyed back to O’Neill by car for the last night in his own bed for a couple of days.

He will get right back at it as he returns to Clearwater in the morning to set out again.  His goal is to make it to Norfolk by the end of the day on Saturday.  This will hopefully allow him to build in some time to visit with media members at the beginning of next week as he pushes south.  We are glad that the Norfolk Daily News ran a story on him on Thursday.  Here is a link for those of you that haven’t seen it.

We have many people planning to join us for our June 9th rally.  We rally hope that all of you reading this will do your best to help spread the word.  We hope you will car pool and make this event as big as it deserves to be.

Its time to put Nebraska and the rest of the nation on notice that we need meaningful change that serves the best interest of our kids.   Its time to pass the DREAM Act as a stand alone piece of legislation.  Si Se Puede!
