      <description>1 - OSSLT Blitz Day - Reading a Newspaper Report&lt;br/&gt;&lt;a href="Entries/2012/3/26_Entry_1_files/SCN_0013.pdf"&gt;Rubric and Exemplars.pdf&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;2 - Comedy Then and Now&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Just like hairstyles and clothing, comedy changes over time.  The 1920s and 1930s have been called the &#x201C;Golden Age of Comedy&#x201D;;  however, the comedy of this &#x201C;Golden Age&#x201D; is often much different from what we would call comedy today.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;TASK: Compare the comedy of the 1920s and 1930s to the comedy of today, using a Venn diagram.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;During the video, record observations about the comedy of the 1920s and 1930s under the circle labelled &#x201C;Comedy Then&#x201D;. After the video, use the &#x201C;Comedy Now&#x201D; circle to list characteristics of comedy today.  Put anything that the two eras have in common where the circles overlap.&lt;br/&gt;</description>
