Sarana is home to 30 incredible people in Sri Lanka’s eastern relatively remote Ampara district. With only a matron and a cook, the residents are mostly self sufficient, with the more physically capable residents taking care of the less capable. The Dutch-Lanka Friendship Foundation (DLFF), a Dutch NGO, has completed major renovation projects, provides funding for teachers, medical care and a full-time onsite program manager.
