The Sahbandu Children’s Home is located in Wanduramba, just outside of Galle and is home to 17 boys, 4 dogs and 7 puppies. Sahbandu is operated by the YMBA, B stands for Buddhist. The Ayesha foundation signed a memorandum of understanding to provide support for Sahabandu and has completed a number of major renovations. The foundation also provides tutors for the kids to assist with their school studies. Many of the photos below are from the annual 3 day outings sponsored by the foundation.
