A large New York healthcare facility with traditional lighting wants to reduce energy and maintenance costs, as well as reduce eyestrain for staff and patients spending extended periods of time within the facility. Any installation work had to avoid disrupting the staff and the patients in their care.

The company contacted NGL to request a no-cost lighting consultation to evaluate the existing installation and recommend potential solutions. After performing energy efficiency and ROI calculations, NGL recommended retrofitting existing fixtures with energy efficient LED PAR and tube lighting.

NGL developed a comprehensive and unique retrofit plan for the facility with a detailed schedule to avoid impacting staff or inconveniencing patients. This included order, delivery and unpacking of the new LED lights, safely removing existing lights, modifying light fixtures where needed and installing the LED replacement lights.
