How to make arrangements:
- Please call me at the number above. We can arrange a time to meet to discuss your scheduling needs and I can meet your dog in his/her home environment.
- Please print and fill out the questionnaire prior to our meeting.
What a typical dog day looks like:
- I pick up the scheduled dogs on the bus sometime between 11:30-1:30. We’re out for 2-4 hours depending on the weather, the destination and the mood of the pack. I have a gate behind the front seats and have taken out the middle seats so they have room to wrestle or can relax on the back seats. Since I’ve done this for several years, the dogs know the routine. I keep my new clients up front with me until they develop a level of trust with me and feel safe with the pack.
- I don’t take dogs on leashed walks. We go to huge enclosed parks on the outskirts of town or if the pack is trained off-leash, we can go to the river or to Forest Park.
- My focus is socialization and interaction among the dogs. I don’t own a chuck-it. I don’t want the focus to be only on the ball. If a ball is found, we’ll play with it for a little while and move on.
- I installed a 20 gallon water tank under the bus so I can rinse everybody off on those festive, muddy days. The floor heaters on the bus make for good fur dryers. I do my best to return them in cuddle condition.
- Feel free to call with any questions.
