We have been asked by the Korean Methodist church to develop and offer a group of unique tours to Korea. The Methodist Church has a long history in Korea. Many Koreans living in the United States and other parts of the world are Methodists. However, beyond sharing the same religious denomination and attending the same annual conference, little contact is made between Korean Methodist Churches in the United States and other United Methodist Churches.
These tours bring together 4 to 10 members of a Korean Methodist Church or churches with 4 to 10 members of a non ethnically based United Methodist Church(s). Members of these combined groups travel to Korea together where they will visit historic sites of the Methodist church in Korea, attend church together, travel throughout Korea visiting human cultural treasures of various faiths and witness some of the important sites of Korea. The exact itineraries are planned by the two or more partner churches with additional stops suggested the Korean Methodist Church, Korea and by Religious Tours Korea.
