Kim Chang Ho is one of Kim Il Mann’s sons and one of the subjects of our video Earth Fire Sky.  Chang Ho has expanded the tradition of onggi, making it truly an art form.  While several contemporary Korean artists use onggi techniques to produce new work, very few have been able to stay within the implied boundaries of onggi and make onggi fresh and exciting like Kim Chang Ho.  These photos were taken at his studio sales exhibit during the 2009 Yeoju WOCEF Exposition where his work was also exhibited.  Come back to see more of his kiln and studio.
