Summer provides you with a unique opportunity -- to visit the amazing Gangjin Celadon Festival.  This festival brings together international artists, educators and collectors to Gangjin home of “finest under heaven” celadon. 

You will travel to important spots in Korea visiting the Human Cultural Treasures and other exceptional artists you want to visit.    We won’t be staying in Korea long as there is much to see.  Our length of stay in Korea will be nearly matched by our tour to China where in particular you will visit Hong Kong, Shanghai and YiXing.   YiXing is famous for its teapots. There you will be greeted personally by some of their Human Cultural Treasures. Hong Kong is famous for its antiques and you can bring some home.

This tour is especially designed to introduce serious collectors to some of the more important artists in Korea and YiXing, China and antique in Hong Kong. 

Do you have a particular interest?  Would you like to visit antique centers in Korea and Hong Kong, or meet other important collectors?  Which art form interests you most?  Which Human Cultural Treasure would you like to meet?  We will try to meet your needs on this special tour.  Sign up early to select the type of artist you wold like to meet.  Of course you will visit historic sites museums and galleries.  

The Gangjin Celadon Festival provides a special opportunity.

The visit to YiXing and Hong Kong will be extraordinary.  In YiXing, you will be personally introduced  to China’s Human Cultural Treasure YiXing teapot makers.
