Introducing

        Human Cultural Treasure Tours is a branch of Morning Earth Tours.  Morning Earth designs unique and personal tours to Korea and beyond specializing in tours to visit Human Cultural Treasures and other significant artists.  

     Morning Earth is new to “commercial” travel but has been around for more than 30 years researching the arts and culture of Korea and beyond.   That research provided us the opportunity to travel the length and breadth of the marvelous country of Korea and meet hundreds of its artists and others who make up the foundation of its arts and culture.  This research places Morning Earth in the unique position to be able to design tours beyond the “places” one calls Korea to the events and especially people that make up the heart of Korea’s rich arts and culture.  That is what makes us different.

     While we are a new company, we are not new to planning tours to Korea.  We have been doing that for more than twelve years planning and hosting private tours.  That is how we earned the endorsement of the Korean National Tourism office.   That is also why Gangjin, Korea approached us, rather than an ordinary travel agency, to help them during their millennium years.  More importantly that is also why US Travel, a leader in travel to Korea and beyond with agents throughout the world, agreed to partner with us to help us offer our unique tours to you.  They have decades of proven international travel experience.

    Finally, we did not begin this aspect of our company with the purpose of gaining great financial reward.  We did it because we believe in Korea and want to share what we have learned by introducing you to Korea’s important artists, fascinating events, antiques and historical sites. 

     If you really want to experience Asia, you should go to Korea.  Korea is a marvelous country filled with the arts, vibrant in its wonderful culture and ready to welcome you.  It is the country most toured by the Japanese, Chinese and Russians.  In the winter it has outstanding skiing, in the summer swimming, hiking and golf - on some really amazing courses that are producing some exceptional golf pros.  We are developing a tour site just for those adventures.  But for us personally it is Korea’s arts and antiquity that motivates us all year.

    Most of our  tours change every time they are offered  because we want to visit different people and events change.  So it is difficult for us to have a set itinerary on our web site.  

   You may be interested to know that in spite of the fact that many Korean travel experts consider our tours to be “definitive Korean arts and culture tours” we often operate like a non-profit company. Our goal is not great financial gain but quality tours that touch the heart of Korea’s rich culture.  A Human Cultural Treasure tour has between ten and twenty guests.  That way you are never crowded into an artist’s studio.
