EGTSu Ex05/ Exclusive: Selected Teacher’s Tour

This is a special tour for selected art and language arts teachers from Michigan and New York who will tour Korea with the goal of developing curriculum for their schools.  In Korea, they will meet with Linda Sue Park in Gangjin, Korea.  Linda Sue Park is the Newbery Award winning author of the book A Single Shard that highlights the development of inlaid celadon pottery in Korea.  Imagine being in Gangjin the home of celadon in Korea with Linda Sue Park.

We are looking for teams of elementary art and language arts teachers from the states of Michigan and New York.  Five schools from each state with their team composed of an art teacher and a language arts teacher will be selected.  This  tour will be partly subsidized.  The amount of subsidy is  still pending.
