Purchasing Information
If you are interested in purchasing a work, select the work and check the price list. After contacting the artist about a selected work, if the work is available, it will be placed on reserve for you until you make a firm commitment. We’ll e-mail you an invoice for the piece and package, insure and ship it on receipt of payment.
Prices vary dramatically from $70.00 to $3000.00 or more for a tea bowl or from $15.00 to $200.00 for a tea cup. Other items have a similar range in price. The wide range in price is due to many factors. Principally, the price reflects repeatability more than quality. Morning Earth Pottery does not sell low quality tea ware at any price. Some sold items are priced and remain on the web site to provide customers reference points for prices.
After your check or money order, in US dollars, is received and cleared, the work is carefully packed often in a wooden box, repacked in a cardboard box, insured and shipped to you. Wooden boxes are usually reserved for work priced over $100 USD. Packing and insurance are included in our on-line prices of $120 and above within the continental USA. Discounted shipping applies to all other shipments for purchases above $120 anywhere.
Your selected work could arrive between 4 days to four weeks depending on your location and the custom requirements of your country. Import custom charges, if applicable, are not included in the price quote. All work is guaranteed if damaged. If the work is damaged in shipping, you may apply for a full refund or to exchange for another work within ten days of receiving the work. Damaged pieces must be returned or a digital image of the damaged work must be received for you to obtain a refund or exchange for another piece. Return shipping costs for replaced work are not covered.
