Right click the picture, choose save as, browse to the folder you want & click save.
How to set up an HP printer. Mine was a 3910
Plug the USB cable in.
Yes, that’s all.
Download drivers from HP, or use the install disk if you have it. Double click the install program, follow the onscreen directions (for quite a while), plug in the printer only when it tells you to.
Spellcheck globally, i.e. in web forms, all applications, automatically.
It does it, automatically for you.
Your kidding, it won’t do it. Windows doesn’t even come with a spellchecker unless you have Office or a third party app.
Add content to your media library, music, movies, etc.
Drag the files & drop them into iTunes. It does the rest.
I think you copy the folder or files into your My Music, My Movies, etc. Then you tell Media Player to add the folder or songs to your library, but I never really got the hang of it & just use iTunes on my PC’s. FYI you can’t drag & drop stuff to iTunes on the PC.
Add cover art to something manually.
Open the media file preferences for the song/movie & drag the files & drop them into iTunes. It does the rest.
Save the file somewhere, then open your media player, edit the song/movie select the picture from the cover art menu.
Burn a disk image.
Double click the image to mount it, open Disk Utility click the image & select burn.
Windows won’t do it, buy a 3rd party app.
FYI: Linux is even easier, just right click the image & select Burn.
Create a new folder & get into it.
Right click on an empty area & select new folder, type in a name, enter then double click the folder.
Right click on an empty area & select new folder, type in a name, enter twice.

Mount a USB drive.
Plug in the drive, now it appears on your desktop.
Plug in the drive, go to My Computer, double click on the correct drive (usually E:, F:, or one of those). You can also select the default actions in the disk options if you can actually find them.
Get pictures off of your camera.
Plug in the camera. iPhoto asks you if you want to import, select yes.
Plug in the camera, when the dialog box comes up telling you the device is not recognized, you will need to get the disk that came with the camera & install the drivers. Once that is done you should reconnect the camera & follow the instructions to upload the photos to a folder you can select.
More to come? Every time I am working on my PC at work I am constantly amazed by how much easier the simple day to day tasks are on my Macintosh than on my Widows machine. I can’t for the life of me figure out why more people don’t switch. Their loss!
