I wanted a gaming mouse to use with Warcraft, problem is I play on a Mac (yes a mac, I like quality).  A lot of the mice I was looking at only work with Windows, even all of the Logitech gaming mice were Win only. But the G500 is different, sort of. The G500 mouse is also a Windows only device, with a twist. All of the settings are stored in the mouse so you can move it from one machine to another without the need for re-installing the software & redoing your settings. This works perfectly for us Apple people out there.


All you have to do is find someone with a windows machine (they’re everywhere) & set up your mouse on it. once you program your buttons, scroll functions & resolution switch settings you can unplug the mouse & plug it into your Macintosh & voila! All of the functions now work with whatever computer you hook it to. This is a very convenient feature even if you are no using a Mac.


Now you can program your Logitech G500 to use on your Mac.
