<b>Label Colors
</b>I set up the label colors for different folder/file types. Then I know what the folders are for at a glance.
Finder/Preferences (Labels) tab. Just type in the names here, then right click a file or folder & select the appropriate color.
<b>Important</b> Files that are important or necessary
<b>Other</b> Non Specific, normally not used
<b>Shared</b> Shared with others
<b>Unused</b> Files you don’t normally need to use
<b>Personal</b> Your data & files you regularly use
<b>Private</b> Files that are only for you to view/edit
<b>System</b> Files used by the computer.
<b>Sidebar Structure
</b>These are the folders I have on my finder sidebar
"Home" folder Main location where all your stuff is stored
Applications All of the programs on your Mac
Documents Your documents that you can view/edit
Movies Movies, Videos, & movie projects
Music Music, sound files, & iTunes folder
Pictures Pictures, clip art, backgrounds, & iPhoto folder
Sites Web sites you edit
