Reigning female champion, Charlotte Paul, will be returning to defend her title. Last season, Charlotte backed up her win in Port Macquarie, with a win less than one month later, at Ironman Western Australia.

Rebekah Keat will also be racing in Port Macquarie, which will only be four weeks after her attempt at the world title in Hawaii. Bek is showing great form with her recent win in Yeppoon this past weekend. She was served a five-minute penalty on the bike, yet still won convincingly with a five-minute gap to second place. She brought it all home with a 1:21:11 run.

For further information on the Scody Port Macquarie Half Ironman contact: Mike McElligott on 0405 159 100
