Billie Proffitt was born in Santa Barbara, California on Superbowl Sunday, to an athletic, beach & travel oriented family. She began doing water sport commercial and print work at age 11.  She was certified as an open water scuba diver at the age of 12, surfs, skates, plays soccer & volleyball, &  studies yoga.  After she graduated from the Villanova Preparatory School in Ojai, California, in May of 2004, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her love of acting.  She has since studied The Meisner Technique at with Martin Barter & Alex Taylor, amongst other various classes.
