And here they are! the long awaited photos by Michele...for those who were on the AACC trip, I hope my constant snapping was not too annoying and now well worth it for you. I certainly could not stop and for those who have known me for a longer time, they are well aware of my addiction to documenting what I see!
Asia was a cornucopia of senses...a never-ending influx of sights, smells and emotions I had never experienced before. A virgin traveler to Asia, I tried to breathe it all in as much as I could without freaking out. Being with this wonderful and well organized group (thank you Judy and Elaine!) of AACC representatives, the “work” part was worth every moment. I learned a lot about how things work in these countries (visits to US embassies, high schools, Fulbright offices, all the employees, volunteers and translators at the Education USA/IIE/AMINEF, the VACC...) and got even more out of the fairs. My constant companion, guide and friend Cecilia was such a pleasure to travel with and thank you for being patient every time I stopped to capture a moment.
