Biography
Bonnie started sewing at age 10 with her grandmother and has never stopped. She started her first studio, Atelier, in Austin, Texas in 1997 where she did everything from wedding dresses to dog-cage covers and whatever you can imagine in-between. During this time she co-founded the Designer’s Guild of Austin, a cooperative of local designers and jewelers who worked together to show and sell their work.
In 2001 she moved to New York City and made stage clothing for various musicians. Her work has been featured in Rolling Stone Magazine and on the cover of the Sunday Styles section of the New York Times. In 2003, the legendary tailor to the stars Lars Nord accepted her into his agency and she began her career traveling the world working on the top campaigns in the fashion industry. She has been behind the scenes for 13 “fashion weeks.” She has also altered the personal wardrobes of many film and music celebrities.
