This is a comprehensive, professional training in Therapeutic Wilderness Programming. It is a perfect supplement for those students in the Outdoor Leadership, Psychology, Anthropology, Environmental Studies, and Business Programs interested in working with people in the wilderness. Training takes place over the phone, online, and through face to face weekend intensives with your cohort.
Fall 2010 (4-credits):
Exploring the field of Therapeutic Wilderness programming and your place in it.
Spring 2011 (4-credits):
Wilderness Psychology and Human Development- The theoretical foundations to Therapeutic Wilderness Programming.
Fall 2011(4-credits):
Therapeutic Methods and Modalities in Nature- An in-depth look at tools and methods for working therapeutically in nature.
