Lived in London until my father died  then spent a few years at an Orphanage in  Surrey, I was then sent to live with an Aunt and family in kent  were I stayed until I left school at 15.

I moved back to live with my mother in London but never really settled and I was soon off, this time with a guitar and sleeping bag and spent the next 5 or 6 years on the road, sleeping on the streets or in cheap flats.

The first few years were spent traveling  throughout Britain but then I discovered the delights of Turkey, by 1968 I had met my partner and we traveled overland to India.

On our return we hung up the sleeping bags and settled down in London  for a while before getting married and moving  to kent where  we started a small Stained Glass business and eventually moved to our studio in Heathfield in 1982, now 26 years later it is time to move on.
