Welcome to MGK

Literally, Malo Ga Kujilana (MGK) means a “place of coming together” in the Yao language. In northern Mozambique, MGK is working to reconnect what has fallen apart. The projects of MGK are centered around people & their dreams for justice, hope, & peace. In order to move beyond what is and imagine what could be, MGK exists to be a catalyst for holistic change by providing resources, friendship & embodied love.

MGK is a non-profit agricultural resource center seeking the betterment of our neighbor through social, spiritual, and physical action. We work intensively with locally formed co-ops with whom we help to evaluate their goals, struggles, and available resources to affect change within the individual families and the group as a whole. Our vision is to empower families to link together and greatly increase their potential for common well-being and abundant life.
