Our Halloween Party!

We had sooo much fun on Halloween. We literally spent the entire day with friends. The party began at 10:30am and festivities didn’t end until late that night after the bonfire in the woods out back. I had such a ball hosting & Mike even took the day off and was such a huuuuuuuge help. I never would have been ready in time had he not jumped in. I rented a bounce house as a surprise for the kids. Boy did they have fun! The adults had alot of fun in it too!!! We had two sack races in which the moms even participated. The day was a complete success!

Sarah’s halloween party

What a blast we had a Sarah’s Halloween party today. The kids looked adorable! Eden and I did this party solo as Micah and Jonah were in school. Great snacks & great company made for a great day! Love hanging out with this group of moms. Too fun!

Sunday at Honeysuckle!

Finally made it back to Honeysuckle. Jonah had been asking if he could go and I really wanted to take him. We left baby Eden at home with Dad while we spent the day in Springfield. Jonah of course was right at home with the animals. Definitely his favorite part! We explored the corn maze and also were able to enjoy the hayride! What a great day with my boys!

Honeysuckle Farm

Honeysuckle Farm is probably one of the coolest places to visit in the fall. Heather (our group moderator) set up a special tour for our clarksvillemomsnkids playgroup. Micah had so much fun with his playgroup buddies! There is so much to do there that we definitely need to go back. Jonah wasn’t with us since he was in school, so another trip will be made!

Today I had the opportunity to photograph the Bailey Family! We headed out to Port Royal, in Adams, for some outdoor pics. The Denman’s photos turned out so well there, Sara said they would be willing to drive out there for theirs. It was definitely a great choice! Lots of shade and so many beautiful backdrops. Eden did great just hangin out in her carrier. She only fussed a little at the beginning.

Geoff + Sara were up for anything and even indulged me with a few smooches for the camera. :) Andrew was a little sweetie and definitely had me working hard. Sara actually danced quite a bit behind me to keep his attention. Anything for some great smiles!

Jonah + Eden

Jonah is being a great big brother! The other night he wanted to hold Eden while she was crying, I gave him a chance & he got her to stop crying! She even fell asleep on his lap! I was free'd up to make dinner! He thought to cover her up on his own too. When I asked him if he wanted me to put her in the bassinet so he could get up he said "No, I hold her". He kept hushing Micah and even told me I needed to turn off the light (had it on for the photo) so that she could sleep. HA! Protective already!!!

Park day

Today we met Christy, Heather, Connor & Lia at the park. Christy had some secret shopping to do at the Riverside Arby’s so we met her at McGregor. It has cooled down sooo much! It was awesome. I could wear Eden and neither of us was sweating. Anyway Connor and Micah had fun chasing each other around. Christy graciously bought Micah lunch! We weren’t expecting that, so thanks again Christy! Jonah had a half day so I headed over to get him around 11:30. We then headed over to the other side of town to have lunch with Dad. After that another park!! I just feel so much better being out of the house. The weather was too good to miss anyway.

TN State Fair

What a treat this was for Micah! I hadn’t been to the state fair since Jonah was 2, and Micah had never been. I didn’t tell him till right before we left where we were going (just in case for some reason it didn’t work out) & he was so curious!! I tried to describe what kinds of things would be there. Our friend Sarah and her son Riley came with us & the two boys rode rides together. It worked out perfectly. Eden mostlly slept but did get a little grumpy towards the end. It was soooo hot that day and for some reason I wore pants!! Sarah and I both managed to leave the fair with out spending any money on food and eating a million calories. First swing ride!

We had playgroup at Coy Lacy today. I packed our lunch in a cooler and made sure to load Micah’s big wheel for some fun riding in the park. As usual we had a great time seeing our playgroup friends. The big news of the day was that Jen Steele is preggers with her third! Hooray I wont be the only one with 3 kids in the group now.

After awhile I suddenly had the thought--hey I need to try Eden in the baby swing. She loved it!! She was giggling and squealing when I pushed her--so sweet! Guess we’ll be going back soon since there’s something for her to do now! :)

MNO-Italian Night

This months mom’s night out was held at Sarah Eyeman’s home. The theme was Italian! (yes i cheated and had just a little bit of pasta). Mike has been working crazy hours and was going to be working that night as well. Luckily Brit was available for the boys and Steph (from church group) said she’d take Eden! I’m so glad I didn’t miss MNO, this was the 1st time ever that all the ladies were present for a group get together. We got a few group shots with my tripod and I think everyone looked fabulous!

Mike let me drive the scout so I planned to pick 4 of the ladies up. We had such a fun time riding in that thing. One thing we didn’t plan for however was RAIN! When MNO was over we got into a wet scout, THEN it was raining on the way home. It was still a blast though! My butt was soaked by the end of the evening.

Last day in Destin

Today was our last day in Destin. What an awesome week we had! We started out the day heading to a little cove we discovered by the bridge. We’d gone earlier in the week and it was such a gem of a place. We were able to relax a bit more since there weren’t any crazy waves and hardly any jellies. The boys loved it and we were able to find all kinds of cool sea creatures. I was the 1st to catch a crab and was pretty proud of myself--then Mike caught one about twice the size of mine! Jonah enjoyed capturing jellies with his shovel. Mike also found some cool hermit crabs. We took a walk along the shore and found a really cool sandbar. The water was soooo clear-it was incredible. We all went out there and splashed around a bit--thats where Mike captured his blue crab. More photos can be viewed HERE.

I had been meaning to do family photos all week but kept putting it off each evening (we’d be too tired or Eden would be sleepy). The boys did an amazing job posing and so did out little Eden! Baby Jules

Got to visit Heather and Jules in the hospital tonight. I bolted out of the house as soon as Mike got home. Couldn’t wait to meet her! I went to Gina’s and she drove both of us on base. Heather looked awesome and baby Jules is just beautiful!! The 2008 baby count is now up to 5 in our playgroup! There are babies everywhere. Gotta love the newborns. Eden seems so big to me now.
