Yesterday morning I was blow drying my hair and E had woke up and came into my room.  He was alone, “snuck out” as he put it.  I told him I was almost done so he could hang on my bed and wait for me.  He asked if he could play with my phone (this boys LOVES electronics) so I say fine.  I finish blow drying my hair in like 2 minutes and open the door to come out of my bathroom, as soon as he sees me, he puts down my phone (this was the most shocking to me) and gives me this huge smile.  I come lay next to him and he just snuggles in to me, and says how much he likes being with me.  We lay there together and talk and then he says, “I am so thankful for you”.  Oh this kid.  I LOVE him.  :)  I can’t believe he is going to be six this week.  I love that he still snuggles so much.  I love the conversations we have, I love spending time with him.  What a great way to start my day!!

I home school Eli 2 days a week, and it has been so much fun lately.  E is reading like crazy!  I can’t believe it.  His teacher has also given him a journal to write in and I LOVE LOVE LOVE to read and watch what he writes.  Home schooling is so much fun!  It is so cool to watch your kid learn.  Yesterday I told him he could read his Bible, he didn’t believe me, and so we got out his Bible and started reading in John. Besides “beginning” he could get through most of the first chapter.  He was SO excited!  It was very cool.  :)
