Have coached 14 Southern Section championship teams, 11 state championship teams and was 2 time National Coach of the Year and am a member of the Ventura County Sports Hall of Fame, the LA Indoor Games Hall of Fame and the California State Cross Country Hall of Fame.  Have also been the district Teacher of the Year.  Am on the advisory board for Cross Country Journal.  Helped co author both the LA 84 Track and Field Handbook and the LA 84 Cross Country Handbook and am assistant director for the LA 84 track and field clinics and a presenter for the LA 84 Cross Country clinics.  Announce at the Arroyo Meet of Champions, Clovis Invitational, Mt Sac Cross Country and Track and Field Invitationals, Ventura County Track and Field Championships, the CIF prelims for Track and Field and the Footlocker Western Regionals.

Mark Celestin founded Runner's Workshop in 1985, and will direct his 73rd camp in the past 25 years. Mark coached at Los Alamitos High School for 10 years and was selected as Orange County Coach of the Year in 1989, and Orange County Teacher of the Year in 1999. Mark was a 1:51.2 800-meter runner and mile relay national qualifier at U.C. Irvine.

Steve Scott is the former American record holder in the mile (3:47.69) and ran his 1500 meters in 3:31.76.  He has run 136 sub 4:00 miles - the most in the world!  Steve's 5K time is 13:30 - the old world Record!   Steve Coaches at Cal State University San Marcos. Steve is a four-time Olympian and one of his sports top clinicians and named one of the nicest athletes around by Sports Illustrated.  Steve is set to be a guest speaker at camp.

Helen Lehman-Winters is the University of San Francisco X/C and T/F coach.  Earlier in her career Helen spent 3 season working with the NCAA finalist UCLA.  From 1989-2000 Helen built Carondelet High School, XC into a state powerhouse. Her cross country team posted a 78-4 record, while her track squad registered an 81-1 dual meet slate. Lehman-Winters 1996 team captured the CIF State Championships and guided Kristen Gordon ot the Footlocker National Championship individual title. The following year, Carondelet's distance medley relay program won the 1997 National High School Indoor Championship.

Devin Elizondo - is entering his 10th year coaching at Brentwood High School. His boys have qulaified for the State Meet in 6 of the last 7 years with 5 top 10 finishes and a best of placing 3rd in 2001. His girls have reached the State Meet 3 times including the Individual State Champion in 2003. Elizondo, a standout in XC and T/F at UCLA, competed at every major championship for the Bruins. As a prep athlete at Mission Bay HS in San Diego, Devin led his team to 2 San Diego Section titles and to 4 State Meet appearances making the All State team in both his Junior and Senior years and helping the Buccaneers to both a State Championship and Runner up. As a senior Devin was the individual CIF Champion and the Division II Individual Runner up.

Mike Erb - University of Illinois - Prior to joining U or I, Mike coached last season at Marquette and before that was the head men's and women's cross country and track and field coach at the University of Redlands in California from 2002 through 2007. In his time at Redlands, Erb guided the men's track and field program from a last place conference finish to consecutive top-10 finishes at the NCAA Division III Championships in 2006 and 2007. With the Bulldogs, Erb coached four NCAA champions, eight All-Americans, 20 NCAA Championships qualifiers and 152 All-Conference performers. He also coached Corey White, the 2005 USATF Junior National javelin champion.

Erb received his undergraduate degree in environmental science in 1998 from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania, where he was a decathlete and jumper from 1994-1998, earning two conference titles in the triple jump. He also received his Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from Redlands in 2005.
