Gazette 2 released!

I am pleased to announce that after 4 months of work, Gazette 2 has finally been released! It is a paid upgrade and requires iPhone OS 3.0.
Gazette 2 has been completely rewritten from scratch to take advantage of some of the latest features and technologies found in iPhone OS 3.0, such as in-app email. Thanks to the new Core Data persistence framework, Gazette saves data faster than ever before and uses up to 3x less memory. For the typical user, this means less crashes when subscribed to a large number of feeds.
To enhance usability, Gazette 2 sports a completely redesigned interface that consists of new icons, buttons with larger hit areas, a toolbar that adapts to the current screen, and of course, the long-awaited landscape mode.
Gazette’s networking has also been reengineered to dynamically adapt to networks of different bandwidths and speeds. As a result, Gazette now uses 20% less bandwidth and syncs up to 4x faster than Gazette 1.0.7 (see the chart below)!
