This is a cut of a movie I shot in February 2008, based on a short play that’s been produced in New York and, of course, San Francisco.

A different version of this play was made into a movie in 2004 by a director in the Columbia MFA film program.

There’s also a screenplay based on this piece written with the encouragement of Frank Pugliese from Greenstreet Films.

The corresponding scene from the feature has a very different shape and ending - but the characters and basic situation are the same.
