Acai Mango Zinger by Celestial Seasonings

Acai Mango Zinger by Celestial Seasonings

-Breakfast: I like strong, black teas in the morning to wake me up. English (not British) Breakfast is good, and I drank that most weekends for a long time since my friend Chris (who is English) gave me a whole box for Christmas one year. What I like for breakfast even better than that, though, is Earl Grey. It’s got a spicy kind of kick that is great for waking me up.
-Illness: I have terrible allergies (thanks, Mum), so every Spring I become walking death. I hack and gag and sneeze and have bloodshot, itchy eyes. Other than this, I do not get sick. Really! Allergies are the only ailment I ever suffer from. The only tea I like to drink when I am suffering so is ridiculously strong, knock-your-socks-off peppermint tea. Tazo’s Refresh is a great one. Let that steep and then take a big swig. That will clear up your sinuses real quick.
-Everyday: For the times when I just want tea for the sake of tea, I generally reach for fruit and herbal teas. Throughout my high school and college years, Celestial Seasoning’s Raspberry Zinger was my favorite, but there were always others I turned to if I wanted something a little different.
-Sweetener: Honey. Obviously I use sugar when I have to, but I will always use honey if it’s available, save for when I’m drinking chocolate based teas.
Anyway, back to Acai Mango Zinger. I found this tea because I had actually fallen in love with Tazo’s Mambo tea. Mambo is a wonderful looseleaf tea made with papaya, mango, rose hips, blackberry leaves, and some other yummy things. Unfortunately it is a bit expensive. Therefore, I decided to go on a quest for a cheaper version. You can see where this is going. I found Acai Mango Adventure and the rest is history.
AMZ’s flavor is fruity and a little light, so it is good for people who are not fans of really strong tea. It reminds me a little of juice actually, and I recommend it for pretty much anyone, even if they are not a very big tea fan.
