Goten

Goten

I do not know how popular this little place is, but I am so happy we discovered it. Goten is a little Japanese restaurant right on the edge of proper downtown Nashville. We originally went there for some hibachi (one of our favorites), but were told it was an hour wait. The hostess then offered the restaurant, so we asked how long the wait was for that.
“There is no wait.”

So we were seated in this quaint little restaurant area with a sushi bar on one side and, maybe, a dozen tables. There was other couple there besides us. To make a long story short, this was a fantastic place. I ordered Ishi-Yaki (stone grill), which is beef, chicken, and vegetables served on a sizzling hot rock. Negima-yaki (little rolls of beef marinated in teriyaki sauce) was our appetizer too, and I had the Natsu Special, which is peach schnapps, fruit juice, and vodka. All very yummy!
