The only thing better than going out to a nice dinner is making one at home.  Besides the fact that it usually costs a fraction of what you would pay if you went out, there is a fantastic feeling of accomplishment when you make something from simple ingredients that makes your guests/family/date/whatever sit back and say (in the words of Jim Gaffigan) “I’m glad I ate that”.  It’s like building something...except you then put your creation in your mouth and eat it.  Here I will share recipes, for better or for worse, in the hopes that others will get just as much enjoyment out of them as I have.
