this one’s on us...

is our way of doing something fun that people wouldn’t see coming.  If you got a “this one’s on us” card, most likely you got it because somebody from NLC unexpectedly gave to you. It is just our way of saying you’re important.

The Bible indicates that a big part of our responsibilities as followers of Christ is to show compassion, favor others and to give to mankind. For many of us giving doesn’t come naturally.  As an effort to learn the art of showing compassion to others we use these cards as a reminder and a tool that other people are important. In a world where selfishness is rampant, “this one’s on us” serves as a reminder to do for others the kinds of things we would love for others to do for us.

If you received one of these cards we encourage you to pay it forward. Do something for someone else and enjoy living life to the fullest.
