What is a PawPawty
A PawPawty is a virtual ‘party’ held once a month on Twitter where anipals have fun and raise money for animal charities. It is like having a real ‘party’ but everything takes place in the twitterverse. There are lots of new pals to meet, fun pawty food and drinks as well as music to listen to. We share photos, sing, dance and have contests where you can win great prizes.

Themes
We always have a theme, recent PawPawty themes include “Back to the 80’s”, “Woodstock”, “Cinco De Mayo” to name but a few. You can dress up your twitter avatar to match the theme of the pawpawty find how on the How to PawPawty Page.
Why?
All of this is great fun but the serious side is that we do it all for a great cause helping an an animal charity or shelter. We select a new charity each month and funds raised go directly to the charity.
Donate Funds
We use existing secure sites Justgiving, Firstgiving, Canada Helps or PayPal or Chipin to send your donations direct to the PawPawty Charity. We do not have any access to your personal bank or credit card details. Your payment is secure.
Charities
We raise funds for charities all around the world. If you want to nominate a charity please contact us. All nominations are displayed on the Blog and a random draw takes place to pick the lucky recipient. Please remember to submit your charity every month.
Prizes
We have between 50 and 60 prizes to give away each month which are kindly donated by individuals and companies who want to help us with our fund raising events. You can see this months donors on the Quizzes Page. A huge thanks to all past and present prize donors.
Music
At the PawPawty we have Dog Jockeys and Cat Jockeys and Furry Jockeys who play great music to sing along with or dance to. You can find out who is spinning the discs at this months pawpawty on the DJ’s Page.
Security
We have out own security team led by @snick_the_dog who keep us in line, making sure we all get home safely. They also look out for uninvited ‘guests’ gate crashing the PawPawty. They report anyone trying to spam the anipals at the PawPawty to Twitter.
Bark Tenders
We always have tasty drinks and cocktails mixed by an expert team of Bark Tenders who work around the clock to keep us refreshed. Of course we make sure that there are lots of non alcoholic drinks for the little ones, we are responsible with alcohol.
PawPawazzi
We love to get papped by the press and we have lots of great outfits to show off. Thanks to @emmythecat @cheriswan @georgetheduck & @trailerparkdogs we have our own Paws Wall for each of the PawPawty Events.
