Ministry Experience:
For twenty-seven years I ministered as a pastor in the Church of God (1977-2004). I was ordained in 1983, and have served as a District Overseer, State Youth and CE Board member, State Council member, State Director of Ministerial Development, and State Ordination Board member. I now hold the title of Bishop in the Church of God. I have preached in Church of God State Conventions, Prayer Conferences, youth camps, and pastors' conferences.
Teaching Experience:
I have taught Old Testament and biblical languages at the Church of God Theological Seminary since 1992. I have taught Bible Institutes, Ministerial Development Institutes, and Ministerial Internship Seminars, as well as classes at Lee University, the Han Young University, and the Puerto Rico extension of the Church of God Theological Seminary. I also presented several lectures for the Church of God School of Ministry video series and presented "A Model for Pentecostal Preaching in the 21st Century" to the 2006 Church of God of Prophecy Leadership Development Institute. I have lectured at the annual ministers training conference of the Zion Assembly Church of God (2007).

Family:
I married Karen Arlene Luke in 1975, and we have three children: Stephen (b. 1979), Michael (b. 1984), and Kendra (b. 1995). Stephen and his wife Marilyn have two boys, Joshua and Caleb.
