Cosmic gloom
The God-man lies within the tomb
While the universe groans
all of humanity moans

Questions abound--when,what, and why?
It is a time to live or a time to die?

Then, with explosive suddenness
earth opens up to heaven
and mortality stretches out to eternity

Why look for the living among the dead?
He has risen as he said.
