With Brook’s birth a week behind us now, I thought I’d share a little bit about what she’s like now that we’ve gotten to know her a little.

For one, she’s perfect, but every mom thinks that.  :-D

Here are her birth stats:

Born 11/10/09 - her due date :) at 9:12 pm weighing in at 6 lbs 3 oz and 20 1/4” long.  Her head was 12 1/4” around.  Apgars were 7 at 1 minute and 9 at 5 minutes.

After a week she weighs 6 lbs 9.5 oz and is just about the same length. 

Her head is over an inch more around. 

All her other stats are “perfect.”

She eats well, sleeps great, and poops good too!

She makes this great “o” face sometimes like she’s sucking out of a straw.

She smiles when we make faces at her sometimes.

She LOVES her daddy.

Her cord fell off this morning - the first of many presents I received on my birthday.  The next one was poop. :)

She has the ability to make the Colts win the last seconds of the game, I’m pretty sure.

She does pretty good in the car seat, but she’s only been in there for two round trips around town.

Sanük loves her already and she doesn’t mind him at all.
