The Ignite Your Game 2011 Summer Speed & Agility Camp may be your answer...
My name is Lars Hanson, and this will be my fifth year coaching the Speed & Agility Camp. I am a student of Olathe East High School, Class of 2012. I played basketball through my freshman year of high school, (won two city championships at California Trail,) and I have been running track/cross country since 7th grade. I chose not to play basketball past my freshman year so I could pursue my dream as a runner, but I continue to coach a 4th grade basketball team
(KC Blitz) and an 8th grade basketball team (Crush) as a way to stay involved with the game.
I have realized that almost all baseball players focus on their hitting and pitching technique. All basketball players focus on the their shot’s technique. All football players focus on the technique necessary for their position, (throwing, receiving, blocking, and so forth.)
There’s one thing that all athletes need, but never try to improve... speed.
Using drills, plyometrics, film studies, and a variety of exercises, I am able to correct poor running technique to make athletes faster. A detailed workout plan is used to allow athletes to reach their fullest potential. Athletes WILL be faster, quicker, stronger, and more agile by the end of the summer.
