Paws, ears, and teeth
Paws, ears, and teeth
We started out with one crazy terrier named JessieDog, who we adopted from the SPCA in 2001. Jessie brought a lot of fun, joy, and chaos to our lives, but we were quite happy to have her with us. Her stay was too short.
After JessieDog died in January of 2008, we decided we couldn’t live without more dogs. But rather than risk the new puppy being lonely when we’re at work or busy, we decided to adopt two Jack Russell Terriers in the summer of 2008.
Chance arrived July 1st, 2008 at the ripe old age of 11 weeks and is beginning to fit in nicely.
Kaylee was born on June 8th and we’re expecting her to come home in mid-August.
Our dogs were bred to meet the English Jack Russell Terrier standard (described here), not the AKC Parson Russell Terrier standard. We suspect strongly that JessieDog was also a “shortie” -- she certainly looks the part.
We’re grateful to Candace Lundin of DBF Russell Terriers, and Belinda Allen of Claddagh Kennels for providing us the opportunity to adopt such wonderful “kids”.
All of the albums and videos are listed in chronological order, so you might need to scroll down to see the latest content. Scrolling builds strong finger muscles and bones, so consider it healthy exercise.
The pack’s all here.
