The ACES program is a new program that culminates three years of MC Tech curriculum. The objective of the class is to provide authentic experiences with engineering and scientific concepts and projects. Students will be engaged in hands-on cooperative, problem-solving, and discovery projects using state-of-the art technology equipment at KIPP Adelante. Through the ACES program, KIPP Adelante hopes to spark an interest in engineering and science careers.
The “learn by doing and not by sitting” philosophy will be the credo of the program. Students will be actively engaged in various engineering projects starting from mathematical and scientific theory, to true application and experiences. Not only will students learn essential engineering and scientific concepts, students will also learn valuable teamwork, leadership, and project management skills.
