Kim Bramley trained in Fashion & Textile Design at St Martin’s School of Art, London. She then worked as a freelance fashion/textile designer internationally having set up her own business in 1992. She worked in textiles and handmade paper for 7 years. Since 1999, she has retrained in kiln-formed glass techniques and spent 9 years working from her studio in North West Scotland on the Isle of Skye. Kim currently works from her recently established ‘Heart of England’ Studio in Sandon,Staffordshire.
