I will send home a notice regarding the timeline. Basically, I realized the timelines don’t really need to be handed in until Monday. They can be completed in a variety of ways. Some people like to go all out and do a fancy timeline on a half sheet of poster board, and add pictures/facts. It can be as simple as a blank sheet of paper with a line drawn, dates, and facts. Sorry for any confusion.

I think most of the children got the message, but just in case there are a few who didn’t...I did say in the letter that I would have the children bring home their Social Studies binders. However, I realized that there is a lot in those binders. To avoid confusion, and help everyone focus on what is necessary, we took out the important papers, clipped them to the quiz letter, and sent them home earlier this week.

My apologies. I sent home the Scholastic order form today, but neglected to add the catalogue numbers to the online ordering page. Not too smart, since there was a push to encourage parents to use the “convenient” online option! I’ll be sure to put it on in the morning.
