Keith runs field studies excursions in Natural History Illustration at the University of Newcastle, NSW, Australia. Topics that Keith discusses include field illustration techniques, ecology, animal behaviour, Australian wildflowers, and the use of still photography and video in natural history illustration.

Locations visited in the Newcastle region include Blackbutt Reserve, the Hunter Wetland Centre, the Hunter Region Botanic Gardens, Hunter Wildlife Park, Awabakal Nature Reserve and Merewether Rocky Ocean Shore.
