WILL IS GOING TO BE A BIG BROTHER!!!!!
We are thrilled to announce that we are expecting another baby in May!!!
FAQs:
When are you due?
My official due date is May 31st, however, because I will have a scheduled c-section, the baby will be born at least a week before, probably somewhere around the 26th. I am currently almost 13 weeks along.
Will you find out what it is?
NOPE! We did not find out with Will and we will not be finding out with this baby. I know that drives some of you totally nuts, but I can honestly say that being surprised was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I have no gut feeling either way, nor do honestly I care if it is a boy or a girl. A healthy baby is all that matters to us and we will be overjoyed either way! Gonna have to wait until May people! You can start guessing now :).
How are you feeling?
Emotionally, I am so excited and happy to be having another baby! I love being pregnant! Physically, however, is a whole different story. I have been very sick this pregnancy, much like I was with Will, if not worse. Unfortunately, I inherited my mother’s horrible morning sickness and have pretty much been sick to my stomach every day, around the clock since before I even knew I was pregnant (that was my first clue). I have tried every medication and even IV fluids, but this baby is strong :)! I just keep trying to tell myself that it is a daily reminder that we have a healthy baby! It has been particularly difficult this time because I have been so busy with my photo business and trying to keep up with a toddler. We also haven’t told very many people at all, so I have been trying to put on a happy face for the last 8.5 weeks. Not to mention I already have a growing belly, so it hasn’t been easy to hide. Hopefully things will get easier in the next few weeks. I was sick with Will until about 20 weeks, so cross your fingers this time it ends sooner! Despite all of this, I am still loving being pregnant!
Have you seen the baby?
Yes, 4 times in fact! We had a few early ultrasounds to make sure the baby was growing well, which it is. Yesterday we had a bigger ultrasound and everything looked great! The baby is measuring about a week ahead right now, but that could all change.
What does Will think?
He doesn’t have a clue...HA! We ask him who the baby is and he triumphantly points to his own chest and says “BABY”!! He is right, he will always be our baby! Hopefully over the next few months he will grasp it a little bit more, but regardless I think he will be an awesome big brother! He loves babies and is very gentle with them. We are super excited for him to have a sibling!
Thank you all for your love and support as we prepare for this new addition to our family!
Love, Kati, Bob, and Will
