2009 i over and 2010 is waiting...

2009 was the year where I won my first big title, which was Gold at Worlds! It’s my biggest achievement in badminton so far and I will never forget the day where Thomas and I won the Worlds.
Besides Worlds, I played my first Super Serie Final in ladiesdoubles which is also definitely something to remember.
We ended the year by winning mixed at Copenhagen Masters and the finishing touch was when we got picked as players of the year 2009.
We didn’t win any Super Serie titles in that year, but we will fight to reach finals and compete for the best places.

2009 was the year where I changed from Værløse to Greve and I have only lost one match for them so far, so it’s going pretty well. – Prefer to be unbeaten, but that didn’t happen.
I hope 2010 will be the year where I will get to play the final of team matches in KB-hallen, for the first time ever.

2010 has already begun and right now I’m in Korea where we had a tough time beating a Chinese pair! Hope we play better tomorrow where we will play a German pair.

New sponsor agreement - New car!

I have been so lucky to make a car-deal with Autonorden. It’s a 3 year agreement, and I’m already driving around in a very nice Nissan Qashqai.
Besides having advertising on the car I had their logo on my t-shirt during Copenhagen Masters.

I’m really happy for this contract and I’m certain that they’re going to sell double the amount of Qashqai’s in the future

Price and off to Super Serie Finals...

Last Tuesday Thomas and I received the Hans Just A/S’ sports price together with Michael Maze, Lotte Friis, Morten Olsen and a young swimming talent.
It’s always nice when you get honoured for the things we’re doing and it’s nice with something positive in a very tough time with Thomas’ injury.
We haven’t played a tournament since Worlds and we’re dropping on the ranking.. But we both believe that we will come back even stronger and the goal is to be ready for Copenhagen Masters, which is a special tournament for us Danish players and we really wanna be part of it!

Right now I’m in Malaysia where I will play my last tournament with Lena and this time it’s really the last one. We didn’t really count on playing this week, but because there were some withdrawals we got invited.
We will do our best to make it tough for the best pairs in the world out here and our goal is to go through to the knock out system and we’ll take it from there..
