Andover Chamber Music

unstuffy, unpredictable, unmatched

Dear friends,

Welcome to Andover Chamber Music and to our new website!

Can this little concert series really be entering its thirteenth season? The calendar says so. But the recurrent joy of unique chamber music concerts is like a fountain of youth. Beautiful music does possess life-giving qualities. We're very proud to offer a season that looks ahead and looks back, where classics take on more energy merged with the new.
As many of you know already, when you come to an ACM concert you are stepping into my living room for a couple of hours to share what is important to me, both in music and in life. From Proust readings about memory and love, to “The Gypsy Spirit,” and “Voices of Nature,”  our concerts find common threads in their programs and aim to thrill and transport you.

I choose works only when I am certain that you will love them as I do, and as always, we plan to keep our concerts unstuffy and fun, with plenty of high jinks, energy, and personal connection to you.  Chamber music the way it’s supposed to be!

If this is your first time here, please take a look around our new website (thanks to  my iWeb lessons at the Apple store!)!  I’ll get to work down-loading (or is it up-loading?) more sound clips from past concerts and promise to keep the site up to date. We urge you to come back as often as you can to enjoy our concerts this season and to rely on the Andover Chamber Music for the power and pleasure of music.

ps I always love to hear from you.
