Andover Chamber Music

Unstuffy.  Unpredictable.  Unmatched.

welcome message     Julie Scolnik,

                                                                artistic director

Welcome to Andover Chamber Music!
It is hard to believe that this concert series has just completed its fifteenth anniversary season! It seems like yesterday that my husband and I moved to Andover with our young family, never imagining the journey of musical discovery and new friends that our new chamber music series would bring us.
As many of you know already, when you come to an ACM concert you are stepping into my living room for a couple of hours to share what is important to me, both in music and in life. From Proust readings about memory and love, to “The Gypsy Spirit,” “Voices of Nature,” and “Souvenirs from Abroad,” our concerts find common threads in programs which merge the old with the new and our aim is to transport you to place you have never been and to new emotional heights. I only program works when I am certain that you will love them as much as I do, and I can tell that you have come to trust me. I plan to keep our concerts unstuffy and fun, with plenty of high jinks, energy, and personal connection to you. Chamber music the way it’s supposed to be!

If this is your first time here, please take a look around our website.
I’ll try to keep brushing up on my iweb skills at the Apple store and get to work down-loading (or is it up-loading?) more sound clips from past concerts. We urge you to come back as often as you can to enjoy our concerts and to rely on Andover Chamber Music for the power and pleasure of music.
If you want to stay in touch through Facebook and get photos and video clips of past concerts, you can do so by going to our page and clicking “like.”
