The Pop Wuj Medical Project

Is a collaborative effort to bring quality, sustainable healthcare to the most vulnerable residents of Quetzaltenango (Xela) and several villages in the surrounding rural highlands of Guatemala.  The goal is to make our project a nexus for healthcare, education, and cultural exchange through strategic partnership so that we can be a force for lasting economic and social change in the communities we serve.

On this website you will find the most current information about the project including: our development plan, our strategic partners, upcoming events, current activities, photo journals of recent volunteers, and information on how you can participate.

If you are interested in joining us through one of the many Spanish language programs available, including the medical Spanish program for students and other healthcare professionals, contact us at the Pop Wuj school for complete information on the school’s language programs.
