This site is a free service by me. I’m Jonas Anderson. I worked at Guitar Center in the Pro Audio division in Fresno, CA for many years. Currently, I help people get the most out of their computers and recording equipment.

In my years at Guitar Center, I routinely meet people who are volunteering at churches with little or no experience in live sound. Worse, I occasionally run into churches that have been misinformed about the needs or capabilities of the gear at the church. It seems like every church has a sound system they don’t understand, which was installed by “some guy a long time ago who doesn’t go to this church anymore.”

In Ephesians 4, Paul writes a familiar verse.  “It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”

Everyone has a job in the body of Christ. I feel like my calling is to help equip the saints to do the work of the ministry in this capacity, the job of helping create a pleasing worship environment and to improve the overall services of any church that wants to grow servants. 

The site is threefold. Please, use the tech training portion of this site to acquaint yourself with what your gear does. Second, help equip another church by submitting an information page about your church, including what you use, how many you worship, size of your building, and applied use of the gear. Third, if you need to buy or sell any of your church’s gear, check with us! It can be a very good choice to sell or buy from church to church rather than from a retailer new or other private party. Why move your church’s awesome (but 5 year old) gear into the youth room when you can help a budding church grow? Using these tools, we can help grow God’s kingdom here in the earth.
