I hope you all are enjoying your February school break. We have two important performances coming up in March and the very first part of April. First on Thursday March 19th the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade choruses will take part in the 6th annual All City Chorus Concert at East Providence High School. This concert is a hugh gala event to showcase the extraordinary vocal talent we have in EP. The 6th, 7th, and 8th grade choruses will join up with Martin Middle School and the EPHS choruses to present a wonderful concert with at times over two hundred voices on stage. I hope to see all your parents and loved ones as this is going to be an awesome event.
On either Tuesday March 31st or Wednesday April 1st
the 7th and 8th grade combined chorus will perform at our state adjudicated chorus festival at Ponagansett High School in Foster, RI. This is an annual event in which our students are judged on a rubric of how well we perform standard choral techniques. Our judges are usually from the college or university field of music.
